Car Stereo Repair Home|Car Stereo Removal | BOSE Repair | FAQ | Shipping | Top 10 |About Us

Most stereo codes can be found in the vehicle. Code cards are supplied with paper work when the vehicle is purchased. The code card usually looks like a white credit card. On this code card is printed the serial number of the stereo and the matching stereo unlock code.

If the code card is not present, there are several possibilities for acquiring the stereo code.

  • Your local dealership may be able to retrieve the code by VIN or may require the serial number from the stereo.
  • The code may be located in a second location in the vehicle, see video.
  • If the stereo has been removed from the vehicle in the past, the code may have been written on the stereo by a tech.

Car Radio VW Radio Code Calculator Software Applicable On Any Volkswagen Radio October 8, 2018 April 1, 2020 admin VW radio code calculator service is available in this post! Your actual code is not, (should not) be that sticker on your radio. That number is the number that the dealer inputs into the VW data base to find your code. If a stolen radio gets checked by the dealer, they get an alert. I had my code read on one of the free services. First remove the radio from the car. Locate the serial number; Enter the serial number into the Volkswagen radio code search; Location of Serial No. On Volkswagen Stereos. Never take the serial number from any printed paperwork or user guides, since this may not match the actual Volkswagen radio.
