  2. Quiet Time, or devotional time, is a daily appointment with God. Peter spoke to the Jewish population. God the Holy Spirit was given to Peter. And it was through the power of God’s Holy Spirit that Peter said:
(NASB) Acts 3:26 “For you first, God raised up His Servant and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.’”

Were Gentiles being left out of God’s words of promise? No – for that same promise to which Peter pointed included you and me as Gentiles. If you are not Jewish, then you also have been blessed through this same word of God to Abraham.
“And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
(Acts 3:25; Genesis 22:18)

These same Jewish people were first given the opportunity to receive Messiah Jesus as their Savior. God had raised up His Servant, Jesus Christ from death to life (the resurrection power of God).

Jesus came preaching: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
(NIV Matthew 4:17)

The invitation of Jesus to you!
Jesus came to bless everyone, and the “catch”? Repent, agree with God that you do and say wrong things. Turn from those sins and turn to the living God.

God’s Servant – came to bless you by giving you freedom!
Whether you are Jewish, or a Gentile (a Gentile is anyone who is not Jewish), you also can receive the blessing God’s Servant came to give… freedom from sin. Freedom, true freedom… not manufactured or manipulated.

How well do you know God’s Servant for yourself? Getting to know Him is to read the Holy Bible with the intention of doing what God says for you to do.

Receiving God’s Servant as your Savior and Lord guarantees you a place in God’s family for eternity. God is the Giver of life and He has provided His Servant, Jesus, to give you eternal life.

Follower of Christ, we need to be growing in our understanding of God’s words by studying His words ~ for they are truth.
